The Trench
Institute

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Who is The Trench Institute for?+

Elementary, middle and high school athletes who want to develop as interior offensive linemen, defensive linemen or rush linebackers. Previous football experience isn't required — just a willingness to work consistently and accept coaching.

Do you train both offensive and defensive linemen?+

Yes. We have separate development paths for OL and DL, covering everything from stance and footwork to pass protection, pass rush, hand combat and football IQ.

How much does training cost?+

The starting Lineman & Rush Linebacker Evaluation is $40 for 60 minutes. Ongoing options — individual sessions and memberships — will be finalized before registration opens.

What is the training schedule?+

A consistent weekly schedule with dedicated offensive line, defensive line and pass-rush days. Exact days, times and location will be announced before registration opens.

How many athletes are in each group?+

Small, organized groups by age, position and experience — so every athlete gets feedback, corrects mistakes and shows improvement.

What should my athlete bring?+

Athletic clothes, cleats or athletic shoes, a water bottle, optional football gloves, and a willingness to learn.

Can athletes train during their season?+

Yes. Offseason training builds technique and corrects weaknesses; in-season touch-up periods keep skills sharp without overloading athletes.

Why do I have to call before booking?+

A short phone conversation lets us learn about your athlete, set clear expectations around attendance, effort and communication, and make sure the program is the right fit.
